Cataract Canyon
Our Cataract Canyon trips launch at Mineral Canyon on the Green River, and take out near Hite Marina on Lake Powell. You’ll float a fifty mile section of the Green River through beautiful Labyrinth and Stillwater Canyons, see the confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers, experience the excitement of rafting the famous rapids of Cataract Canyon, and end the trip near the northern tip of Lake Powell.
We offer this trip as a six day rowing or three day motorized rafting expedition, which will include side canyon hiking opportunities, time and weather permitting. Some of our rowing trips may be accompanied by a motorized support raft in high water levels.

Cataract Canyon rates include a $25.00 optional van or bus transfer back to Green River from Hite Marina. Contact us for other available transportation options.

Itinerary: Meet us in Green River, Utah, the evening prior to the trip. The following morning you’ll fly from Green River to Mineral Canyon for the river launch. You can drive to Green River and leave your car at our place. At the end of the river trip, we’ll return you to Green River from Hite Marina, by van. If you are flying out to join us, book your flight into Salt Lake City, Utah or Grand Junction, Colorado, and rent a car or take a van shuttle for the drive to Green River.
