You need to arrive in Green River, Utah on the evening prior to the trip launch.
We will meet you at the John Wesley Powell Museum at 6:30 PM the evening prior to the river trip for a short pre river trip orientation meeting. At this meeting, we will pass out water proof river bags for you to pack your gear into that night. General questions and concerns will be addressed along with a brief overview of what to expect during the following three to six days.
At 7:30 am the following morning we will meet you at our warehouse parking lot (if you have your own vehicle) or pick you up at your motel and transport you to the airport for the 8:00 am flight to the Mineral Bottom lunch site. You may leave your vehicle at our parking area.
The trip will end near Hite Marina on the extreme northern end of Lake Powell. We will return to Green River by van, arriving about 5:00 pm. If you have your own vehicle, we will take you back to our parking lot. If you arrived in Green River via Big Horn Express or American Spirit Shuttle or AMTRAK, we will take you to your motel (for which you should have pre-arranged a room).
