"I would like to express our deepest appreciation for your crew and thank them for the fabulous time my friends and I had on the river. I hope that I will be able to return again soon. Furthermore, I would highly recommend your company to anyone who might be interested in river rafting."
A.L., Lake Forest, CA.

"I will say it could not have been done better. The 14 days were well conceived and carried out in a very organized and professional manner. I will unhesitatingly and aggressively market your company. Before the trip the common response to hearing we were "rafting the Grand Canyon" was "I  have always wanted to do that". I can now say unreservedly "follow your dream....with Moki Mac!!!."

Colorado River Rafting
in Grand Canyon

Our Grand Canyon schedule includes an eight day motorized trip using 35' pontoon rafts carrying up to 12 passengers each and running 280 miles from Lees Ferry to Lake Mead, and a fourteen day oar powered trip that covers the same portion of the river and utilizes 18' rafts being rowed by our guides and carrying 4 passengers each.

To watch 5 minute movies of a rowing trip and a motorized trip, click here.

Two shorter oar powered options are available: the six day "upper" portion of the 14-day trip running 87 miles from Lees Ferry to Phantom Ranch or the nine-day "lower" portion of the 14-day trip running 193 miles from Phantom Ranch to Lake Mead.

The six day "upper" trip option requires a strenuous 10-mile, 5000 vertical foot uphill hike out of the canyon. The nine-day "lower" trip option requires a strenuous 10-mile, 5000 vertical foot downhill hike into the canyon, both between the South Rim Village and Phantom Ranch. You need, at a minimum, to be in good general health and prepared for this hike if you choose the six or nine day trip.

The Green River in Utah
A raft trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon can impact many levels of intellect and emotions. Descriptive words seem trite.
We are grateful for the opportunity and ability we have to offer trips in this sacred place. Our trips in the Grand Canyon are much more than floating on the river and running the rapids. We spend as much time as possible hiking the side canyons, to give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in and ponder this great natural wonder.
