Colorado River Rafting
in the Grand Canyon

Our Grand Canyon schedule includes an eight day motorized trip using 35' pontoon rafts carrying up to 12 passengers each and running 280 miles from Lees Ferry to Lake Mead, and a fourteen day oar powered trip that covers the same portion of the river and utilizes 18' rafts being rowed by our guides and carrying 4 passengers each.

Two shorter oar powered options are available: the six day "upper" portion of the 14-day trip running 87 miles from Lees Ferry to Phantom Ranch or the nine-day "lower" portion of the 14-day trip running 193 miles from Phantom Ranch to Lake Mead.

The six day "upper" trip option requires a strenuous 10-mile, 5000 vertical foot uphill hike out of the canyon. The nine-day "lower" trip option requires a strenuous 10-mile, 5000 vertical foot downhill hike into the canyon, both between the South Rim Village and Phantom Ranch. You need, at a minimum, to be in good general health and prepared for this hike if you choose the six or nine day trip.

Hualapai fees and ground transportation to Las Vegas after a Diamond Creek take-out or Jet Boat to South Cove and ground transportation from South Cove to Las Vegas after a South Cove take-out. A raft trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon can impact many levels of intellect and emotions. Descriptive words seem trite.
