BEFORE THE TRIP
14 and 6 day rowing trips
8 day motorized trips;
We will meet you at Marble Canyon Lodge at 6:00-6:30 PM the evening before the river trip for a short meeting. We will pass out water proof river bags for you to pack your gear into. General questions and concerns will be addressed, along with a brief overview of what to expect during the river trip.
The following morning we will meet you at the Lodge for an 8:00 AM transfer down to the river at Lees Ferry, about a five mile ride. If you have your own transportation, you may leave your vehicle at the NPS long term parking lot (there is no parking fee) near the launch ramp.

9 day rowing trips;
We will meet you at 6:00 PM in the lobby of the Bright Angel Lodge on the South Rim the evening prior to THE HIKE. At this meeting, we answer questions, help you get the stuff you need for morning (snacks, juice, water, etc) and designate the meeting place for early the morning of THE HIKE. General questions/concerns will be addressed, along with a brief overview of what to expect during the river trip. If you made reservations for the "duffle service", you were instructed to turn in your duffles to the Mule Barn by 4:00 PM on this day. If you missed that turn-in, you'll have an opportunity at this meeting for a "late turn-in" to the Bright Angel transportation desk. Late charges may apply.

AFTER THE TRIP
14 and 9 day rowing trips
8 day motorized trips;
The river trip will end at Pearce Ferry/Lake Mead (motorized trips) or Diamond Creek (rowing trips). From Pearce Ferry or Diamond Creek, van/bus transportation is provided to take you back to Las Vegas, arrival time no later than 4:00 PM. If you plan to fly home that day, make your flight reservations for not earlier than 8:00 PM.
6 day rowing trips;
The river trip will end at Phantom Ranch/Pipe Creek trail. We’ll arrive at Phantom Ranch early in the morning on the 6th river day. If you have arranged for the outbound duffle service we’ll stop long enough to drop off your duffle and then take you down the river a mile or so to a place called Pipe Creek where the Bright Angel Trail reaches the river. There, one of our crew will accompany you part of the way up the trail to Indian Gardens, where another Moki Mac employee will meet the group and escort you the rest of the way up to the South Rim. Earlier that morning, you’ll have an opportunity to pack a sack lunch for the hike out. Duffles sent out by mule will be waiting for you at the Mule Barn at South Rim Village.
