A full day long guided tour of Range Creek Canyon can also be pre-arranged. The main lodge and outlying cabins are all clean, comfortable and cozy. Itinerary: Our 7-day combination Tavaputs Ranch visit and Desolation Canyon whitewater raft trip begins in Green River, Utah. We will meet you in Green River City the evening before the trip begins. (Accommodations that night are your responsibility.) We will have a short orientation meeting at the John Wesley Powell River History Museum, distribute waterproof bags, and discuss the following morning’s plans. On the morning of the trip, we will provide transportation to the Green River airport where you will board a small plane for a scenic flight up to Tavaputs Ranch. You will enjoy two days and two nights accommodation there. On the morning of the third day, you will enjoy another scenic flight from the ranch directly to Sand Wash, the put-in sight for the 5 day river trip portion of the trip. We will return you to Green River City around 4:00 pm on the 7th day. Please see our Desolation Canyon page for additional information about this portion of the trip.
